Go to High School, Go to College

2026 Scholarship Program

"Scholarship, Manly Deeds, and Love for All Mankind."

Application Deadline: April 15, 2026

A Legacy Rooted in Education

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was the first intercollegiate Greek-lettered fraternity founded by African American men, established at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, on December 4, 1906. The Fraternity's national program on education dates back to 1919 with the introduction of its historic "Go to High School, Go to College" campaign — concentrating on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement.

The mission and objective of the Willie J. Bradley Foundation and the Fraternity are to stimulate the ambitions of both its members and the community and to prepare them for greater service to humanity, freedom, and dignity of the individual; to encourage the highest and noblest forms of manhood and womanhood; and to aid the downtrodden in its efforts to achieve higher social, economic, and intellectual status.
